There’s just something about Autumn - crunchy leaves, bright cold days, snuggly scarfs and cosy boots. For photographers Autumn is extra exciting as it’s the most beautiful time for family photography, especially somewhere like Berkhamsted. Just spotting a beautiful golden tree on the turn is enough to send us into frenzied excitement (I’ve pretty much had my own kids “Autumn Shoot” outfits planned since June!). Nature puts on the most beautiful show and the gorgeous woods and countryside surrounding Berkhamsted, Tring and Ashridge are simply stunning.

And what better time to take some gorgeous family pics with these beautiful natural backdrops?

Our family Autumn sessions can take place around Ashridge, the parks and countryside surrounding Berkhamsted, Tring and it’s villages or another location of your choice. And they’re so much fun - we throw leaves, stomp in puddles, get pretty mucky and capture your family just being you.

We can work around nap times, if you’re still in that phase, and entice a smile out of the grumpiest or most timid child (or dad, as they’re often the grumpiest!).

We offer two options for Autumn photoshoots:

Mini Sessions - These last just half an hour. We’ll do a couple of family pics, individual and sibling images (if appropriate) some fun leaf throwing and pictures of the kids just playing. These cost £159 which includes five digital images chosen by you from an online gallery. There are upgrade options if you decide that you’d like more.

Family Session - Alternatively you could choose a full family session. These last up to 90 minutes (depending entirely on the children and how long they need or will tolerate). You receive a much bigger and more varied photoshoot and a gallery of at least 50 images to choose from. These sessions start from £275 for more info on pricing click here.
