Short but sweet photoshoots at an exclusive pop-up studio

For the fourth year running, Berkhamsted’s leading family studio photographers Lightmonkey Photography, are running a pop-up studio at Westbrook Hay school’s Christmas Fair. For a small session fee of £30 (£10 of which is donated directly to the Westbrook Hay Association) you can have your very own family photoshoot, producing some beautiful family portraits in time for Christmas. They will also make awesome gifts for Family and Friends.
Here at Lightmonkey we LOVE Christmas, but we like to keep things classic. These very limited sessions will include a timeless, paired-back family Christmas set, a special kids only Christmas carousel set AND a plain, classic set* - so you will get some festive images and some beautiful updated family portraits that you can hang on your walls all-year round. The images above show this year’s cosy, snowy Christmas, our carousel set and lots of examples of our plain background family images too.
The sessions last just 10 minutes and are the perfect way to update your family images. A few days after the shoot you will be emailed an online gallery from which you can choose, purchase and immediately download your digital files. Images start from £25 (full pricing can be seen below).
Feel free to bring Christmas jumpers and outfits if you’d like to add a little more Christmas fun. We’ll also send you some clothing guidance once you have booked.
The Christmas Fair sessions will be held at Westbrook Hay School (there will be plenty of signs to help you find us), on Saturday 22nd November between 9am and 2pm (with the early 9-10am sessions reserved for those helping at the Fair). Please note the fair doesn’t start until 10am. We will be taking bookings in advance but be quick, as last year we sold out within a few hours.
AND If you can’t make the fair, because these sessions sell out super fast, we’re running an overflow day the following Saturday 29th November, at our beautiful Apsley studio. The sessions will be exactly the same and we have allocated parking to make it super easy.
The alternative overflow sessions will be held at Lightmonkey’s Studio, Avia Close, Apsley, on Saturday 29th November from 10am until 2.30pm.

The sessions take place only at Westbrook Hay School during the Christmas Fayre on Saturday November 22nd 2023 (with an overflow session at our Apsley Studio on the 29th).
The session fee is £30, £10 of which will be donated to The Westbrook Hay Association. No images are included in this session fee.
We will send clothing guidelines before your shoot to help you to choose clothing.
Your images will be delivered via an online gallery within four days of your shoot - there is no in-person sales or trips back to see us (unless you want to see us again because we’re so lovely!)
